The Love Museum describes itself as as place where you can enjoy a fun and healthy awareness of sex through experiential art, and it’s also just a great place to take pictures. My boyfriend and I had a lot of fun exploring Hongdae’s Love Museum and Trick Eye Museum, located in the same building.
There are a lot great photo opportunities here: some will make you laugh, some will make you blush, and some are just really pretty.
It’s a popular place amongst couples and friends, so try to go on a not-so-busy day to avoid waiting for other people to take their pictures!

The Love Museum in Hongdae, Road of Youth, is a space of diverse ‘experience exhibitions’ decorated through the themes of love and sex. This is not a simple exhibition, it is a place where you can talk happily and delightedly about sex through experiential viewing.
The Love Museum is composed of 6 themed areas in total, and from Joseon era pornographic illustrations to famous Western paintings, contemporary art, and sculpture the fun and memories are increased through the display of various types of work and high-level collaborations.
The Love Museum is leading a healthy and upright enjoyment and awareness of sex together with art in the centre of youth culture where young people and tourists from around the world flock.
